Phoenix is proud to have Bruce duBois on board as the Creative Director
and a Master Stylist/Colorist. Bruce is one of Philadelphia’s top
educators and service providers, and has been recognized both nationally
and internationally as a true “Master” in hair styling and
color. Bruce was the first United States Colorist to present to the Haute
Coiffure Francaise in Paris, and is now the US Representative for the
Haute Coiffure Francaise. He has also been honored by the Intercoiffure
and Hair Color, USA. Bruce received awards as “Best Colorist” and “Best
Hair Repairist” by Philadelphia Magazine, and was voted to be one
of the Top Ten Colorists by Vogue Magazine. Bruce has been featured at
the International Hair Color Exchange in Las Vegas, and has served as
a Platform Artist for several major manufacturers including Redken, Sebastian,
KMS, Davines, and Allegretti. He is commonly selected to appear on TV

Deep muscle tension is directly connected to emotional and spiritual trauma. By combining western massage and Asian energy work, the whole persona is brought back into balance ”body, mind and spirit".
Augustine started his training in the early 90s. His foundation training was in the Asian bodywork systems of Medical Qi Gong and Jin Shin Do Acupressure. His training in western systems was established with his certification in Neuromuscular Integration, a form of deep tissue massage.
He is also certified in massage for cancer treatment by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (NY). In 2005, he was invited to practice and teach Deep Tissue massage and Medical Qi Gong at Phat Hue Tu Acupuncture Clinic in Frankfurt, Germany.
Over time, Augustine developed a unique style of bodywork known as Deep Tissue Qi Release. This massage incorporates Neuromuscular Integration and Medical Qi Gong acupressure to release physical muscle tension. It also dissolves blockages within the twelve-organ meridian system as understood in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Augustine enjoys sharing the therapeutic benefits of massage. When it fits with the client's needs, he will structure a variety of his massage services to support the healing process. Although his specialty is deep tissue, he has an appreciation for the value of soft, gentle bodywork and offers Jin Shin Do acupressure, Geriatric or Diabetic Foot and Leg massage for clients who prefer a soothing experience.
